Waiting on Henry {WI Maternity Photography}

A few short weeks ago a past client got in touch with me wondering if I could get her in for a quick maternity session before her little one arrived.  It had been 3 years since I had seen Melissa and her family, last time we met up they had just welcomed their first born into their lives, here we were 3 years later and they were soon to add a little boy to their family.   It is always so much fun for me to see the littles I photographed as newborns now grown into toddlers and ready to become the big sibling.  I had so much fun seeing little Audrey and how much she had grown from the newborn I last saw to now a walking, talking 3 year old.  She was so much fun, honestly I could have done a full session of just her!  I often say 6 month olds are my favorite to photograph, namely because they sit, smile and are a great boost to the ego, but to be perfectly honest if I were to focus solely on photographing children I think the 3 to 5 year age would be the ideal age, they have so much personality, they tell you everything and they can lead you on great adventures through their imaginations.  This session though was all about capturing mom, dad and Audrey as they awaited the arrival of little Henry.
