Phew… I’m here, I’m here!

Once again I’m in the thick of the busy summer season.  If I’m not busy photographing amazing seniors, beautiful bellies, precious newborns and toddlers galore then you can find me spending time with my children.  More often than not I’m at the ball field watching my son’s little league team, or in the back-yard playing catch or swimming (umm, ok more like floating!) in the pool.  With all of these activities going on it means I am once again spending many late nights in front of the computer editing and doing the usual business stuff that I try to do during “normal” hours in the school year. So if you email me on a Tuesday morning, do not be surprised if you receive a reply at 1 in the morning on Wednesday, it’s just how my summer schedule works.  At the moment my daughter is playing at the neighbors and my son is sleeping on the floor in our sitting room.  He wanted some down time after lunch and next thing I knew he was sound asleep.  I’m not complaining, it’s the only way I can actually update the blog during a normal working hour.

I’m sorry I’ve neglected the blog as of lately, you see I find it much less time consuming to post quick sneak peeks on Facebook.  I always have good intentions of coming here to post images on the blog too, but somehow I always manage to put it off.  If you are the facebook type of person feel free to visit the FAN PAGE, I often will run contests or post fun little quips on the fan page.  Come take a look and become a fan (or I guess a “like” as FB likes to now call it).

Because I can’t post without some pictures here are a few from a recent newborn session.  Miss Maddyn was a delight to photograph.  She made my job so easy as she slept nearly the entire time I was there, only waking to take a few peeks at me and to eat.  I truly believe the key to “easy” newborn sessions is getting babies in as early as possible.  Maddyn was just a week old when these portraits were taken.

Michael Absolutely adorable images! Love the softness and serene quality that shines through… Really beautiful work!
