Happy Mother’s Day! { Stacy Francis Photography }

Boy, once again it has been awhile since I’ve written.  I guess that makes it a bit hard to be a loyal follower doesn’t it?  I love reading other’s blogs, but the blogs I love most are those that are written in several times a week.  I’m seriously working on this folks.  Honestly I always wonder what it is I could say that would compel anyone to read more than the first few lines. I can have witty banter with anyone, but to write it down as a one woman show, that might be a completely new challenge.  The point of today’s post though is not to wallow in my lack of blog posting but rather to give a shout out to all the mother’s out there in the world.  You deserve today, a day to call your own.  I hope  you all have enjoyed a day, one that you didn’t have to plan or work at.  My husband Dan orchestrated a wonderful lunch with his family and mine.  He cleaned, he cooked (with the help of our 9 year old Grace), he served and he cleaned up.  He is now at baseball practice with our son so I can enjoy an hour or so of peace and quiet.  I’m enjoying that time getting caught up on email and blog posts… hmmm, should have taken a nap first!  I hope you all were as lucky.

Speaking of mothers, I had the privilege of photographing these two amazing moms to be (well both are already mothers…) last week Sunday.  We had an amazing and hysterical afternoon at the apple orchard.  Ever try to ride a tandem bike?  Ever try to be pregnant and ride it with another pregnant woman?  I haven’t, but these two can say they have.  I think from now on there should be a warning sign on tandem bikes, “WARNING, attempting to ride while pregnant could result in lots of laughter”.  Thank you Kimberly and Jennifer for allowing me to capture this time in your lives, for allowing me to laugh till the tears flowed and for putting up with my silly requests.  Jennifer welcomed a healthy baby girl just 4 days after this session, congratulations Jennifer and family!

Corey Sewell These are gorgeous, Stacy! What an awesome session!
